Everyday Ways to Transform your Mindset
You don't need the new year to set new goals!
New years can feel daunting, especially after the one we just experienced. Collectively and personally we've all gone through an upheaval of changes.
It's up to you daily to work on yourself, your intentions, your contribution to the world and those around you. This doesn't have to be overwhelming or exhaustive either. It can be as simple as I want to emit more love and healing or positivity into my relationships, my creativity, my body or my work / service in the world. Sometimes we don't have to have complete drawn out tangible goals - we can start with resonance and a recognition of how we want to feel and go from there.
Important items to remember as we enter and approach each day in 2024.
- It's completely normal, fine and sane to not want to set any goals - and also completely normal, fine and sane if you do. As much as we look externally for advice at times - we must always begin within to really ask ourselves what will work best for ourselves. You'd be amazed how almost everything I do comes back to this one glaring point.
- If you're going the goals track, kudos and start small. Don't overwhelm yourself with so many tasks that you become scattered. You're not in a race and the only person you should be in competition with is the person you were the day before. And that's healthy competition ; ) No time to beat yourself up over the past or woulda, coulda, shoulda moments. You're here now~ and can smile fondly at the moments that have taken you this far which help to also guide you forward.
- Reflect on the past to grieve the person you were and your part in the roles you played which no longer serve you. This is an integral part to looking ahead and moving forward that sometimes is not taught or conveyed since we live in a society that is so go go go onto the next. It's normal and natural to go through periods of life feeling a sense of loss or sadness even to an extent over the passage of time or how we change in addition to how the world and people around us are changing too.
- Create actionable goals that help to embody how you feel and move you towards your desired result - IE go inward and get aligned on your goals before you start distracting yourself with opportunities that may not be right for you. Focus more on what you do want and start doing more of what you love!
- While it's important to have windows of free flowing creative inspiration - ensure that you balance this time with a structured plan to carry out the execution.
- Your time, energy and mental health matter - you don't have to overextend yourself or take on responsibilities out of the sake of being busy or productive. There's positive reinforcement in the word no and it should be your friend, always.
There is no time like the present and that's why it's a gift. Day one or one day - you decide.
And remember while some constants in life may not change, you can always aim to enhance the betterment of your life, your perspective and shift energy and emotions into a positive and productive lifestyle that works for you.
You're meant to change and experience the wide range of life's experiences and bounty. Open your heart, mind, imagination and step outside of your comfort zone when you're called.
Write down the intentions and how you want to feel and step into a frequency that gives you astounding bliss.
Happy New Year, day, life, bliss!
